More and more young people have chosen a solitary lifestyle for many kinds of reasons, which also causes many problems. Among these, the lack of emotional sustenance has its biggest impacts. Based on this, this project focuses on the young solitary group to design an set of wearable and interactive products. Through using three behaviours (eating, sleeping, and exercising ) in people’s life to design the interactive response between human and plants, COHULANT aims at providing the virtual sense of companionship for them.
This project is aimed at allowing people to imagine that 50 years later in the future, how humans and plants can interact emotionlly and co-live with each other to a certain degree.
